End of yet another trip...
Its saturday... the eve of eve of my June trip overseas. Abit lost as the trip is coming to end, abit caught as part of me wushed to go home already as too many days in Taipei is getting abit boring after seeing other parts of taiwan; the other part of me does not wish for the holiday to end as it means back to work again.
Sigh.. end of holidays blues.. hope i get my act together all over again by wednesday :)
Enuff of the blues.. here comes the wonderful highlights of this trip lest i forget about them.
In the last 10 days, my travelling mates and i have covered some of the main cities and sub-urban areas in Taiwan. Sun came out when we left Zhiben for Gaoxiong, which was a great blessing. If ppl asked me is Taiwan fun? I would say if u like nature trails, like simple fare... Taiwan is a place to come, But if ur main idea is to come and shop, be prepared to pay.
Accomodation and travelling from place to place is expensive, but the food is great. Of all the main cities i went to in Taiwan, ppl in Hualien and Xinzhu are the nicest and friendliest.. willing to help, sincere to help :)i have my fair share of shopping in Taipei too!!! 5 pairs of MADE IN TAIWAN shoes at 200 bucks! where to find??? Wufenpu, Ximending, ye shi are too big to finish.. my legs are sore everyday from the endless walking..walking..walking.. Did i lose some weight then?? hahahah.. NOPE! Cos the food here are too nice to reject! kekeke.. Big mangoes! Big watermelon!! Zhadan!! Beef noodles!! *yum yum*
Went to the famous eslite bookshop in the middle of the night.. the interesting thing was its within walking distance from where im staying in Taipei conicidentally.. what can i say? And yesh.. i burnt a small hole in my pocket again.. the illustration books are jus too nice not to buy.. n they costs me only an avereage of 13 bucks per book! wu hua! kekekekkeke *i can have thousands of excuses to buy books la!* i love the feeling of waling to the bookstore in the middle of the night and jus browse thru the books.. with many many ppl sitting all over the floor reading.. nice nice.. :)its a city i will visit again.. in fact, if can, biennial will be good.. :) missing home now, missing taiwan soon....
