Second posting for today... :)
I was super duper blessed at the youth convention this weekend. A last minute decision to go... thank God i went.. my heart was so touched when i saw the flags of every country represented in the auditorium flying up high as all of us worship God with one voice. My spirit was stirred as i caught a short glimpse of nations at peace with one another, blessing one another under one roof in the name of Jesus! China, Japan, Korea; Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam,Manila etc...
Humbled by the Lord too when delegates shared about their restrictions in public worship, lack of leadership both in the church and govt,stable govt, stable economy,broken family system,hopelessness etc... He opened my eyes to see how blessed I am to be born in Singapore, how blessed I am to be part of a community led by a group of pastors/leaders who are equipped, trained, wise and passionate for God, how much i can give and do to be a blessing to others. Thanks be to God.
Dreams and desires were once again aroused and awakened by the Lord when my dear Lord spoke as the delegates took time to share about their nation n prayer requests.
What are my dreams? To be His best worship leader ushering the ppl into His presence.. Today abit more specific.. that He will use me to heal the many broken hearts as we worship. To live a life pleasing to Him all the days of my life... jus pray that when going gets too tough, He will in His unique ways cause me not to lose sight of Him.
What are my desires? To Japan, I pray.. that He will send me there to teach what im trained to teach - Basic Chinese Language and culture, the Word of the Lord; to market Him to the youths who needs to know of His Fatherly love and the Truth. My family, I pray.. will come to know the Lord n serve the Lord alongside with them.
A special posting this is..for i never articultate these to many before.. but i decided that all these will be written down, so that it will not be forgotten nor brushed aside cos i know i will when doubts n the many 'hows' sets in.
Your will n not mine be done in my life.. have Your place, have Your way.. In Jesus' name, Amen! :)
